HOW CAN WE HELP?

  • Sponsor a child (£6 per month) or a teacher (£30 a month), or give other amounts monthly or quarterly. These donations go towards general expenses, which are mainly staff costs and for operating the school bus. They enable more children to attend the school. Ask for a Standing Order form, or click here for html version or click here for pdf (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

  • ad hoc cash donations. These can be used to buy books, stationery, or craft materials. Large donations have been used to extend the school, improve facilities, or buy equipment such as the school bus.
If you wish to discuss possible applications please contact us.
Make cheques payable to Friends of Sangam Foundation and send to
    David Fish, FOSF Treasurer,
    33 Magnolia Drive,
    Lutterworth,
    LE17 4RS

  • The book of poems: Turn but a Stone, is available for purchase with all proceeds going to Sangam School. Click here for information.

  • There are other ways. For instance, you may be willing to write and receive letters. Children love to hear from other children their own age.

  • Consider sending used school text books or revision guides to the school. Key stages 1 and 2 are most welcome.
  • If you are visiting India and are willing to adjust to a village way of life, you will be welcome at Sangam School, especially if you can bring any educational items (eg art materials) with you. A link from the outside world is a great boost to morale. For further information, contact Dr Eleanor Nesbitt.

  • Offer to help with administration of and fundraising for FOSF in Britain
